Parent & Child Truth with Grace Mini Retreat

This retreat is designed to help parents and children get started on improving communication; to stop abuse in its tracks; and examine the delicate topics that are tough to talk about: drugs, sexting, drinking, disrespect, self-esteem, bullying, peer pressure, and more. Come join us for a fun-filled, spiritual, and interactive day. Registration is $50 per family (includes 1 to 2 parents and children/teens in your immediate family. Registration on the same day on-site will be $75 per family. Registration includes lunch, meals and a Comfort the Courageous Cub© Journal. Click on the button below to register. Generous supporters donated journals for survivors of child abuse and kidnapping to draw and write in. We also delivered 50 journals to abused children in Haiti. 

6th Annual Comfort the Courageous Cub© Donation and Journal Drive*

This event took place on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Davanni's 41 Cleveland Avenue S. St. Paul, MN 55105. It was bittersweet as the event served a dual purpose of being the official launch of our No More C.R.A.P.© non profit organization and received donations of a cub and journal. Our supporters also had the option to purchase Comfort the Courageous Cub©. Trent Tucker, NBA made a special appearance and urged the guest to support this worthy cause. This outstanding event has taken place for the last six years as a charity event in lieu of birthday gifts for our executive director. All cubs and journals are donated to children and families who have encountered child abuse or kidnapping. *2011 is the first year this event was launched as an official impending non-profit kick off fundraising event of No More C.R.A.P.©  The event has been taking place since 2006.
